More farm activities

4/27 - Josiah's school field trip to the Springfield Cardinals game!  They were playing the Arkansas Naturals (AA affiliate to the KC Royals) so of course we cheered for Arkansas.

Our third calf of the season is born!  The first one to be red like it's daddy.

 Just because they're cute.
Jason got the kids a youth bow since they liked archery so much at cub scout camp.  So cute to see them practicing.

 And Katniss Everdeen stopped by.

5/4 - My mom came to visit and we took Levi to pick strawberries at a farm near our house.  They were delicious!

5/5 - Levi's school field trip to Jump Mania (it's difficult to get pics at that place!).

5/7 - we took the kids to see the new Jungle Book movie.  We all enjoyed it!  While we were there we had to take advantage of the Angry Birds movie photo op.

Then my men took me out for a Mother's day dinner of crepes.  So delicious.

5/8 - I tortured my family by making them take a picture with me after church.  They secretly love it.  It was Mother's day so they really didn't have a choice.
5/11 - we sold 2 heifers and 2 steers.  Farm income is fantastic!

5/16 - Jason and I had a night out to see a one time screening of the Abolitionists movie.  Jason says we can't call it a date night because it's a movie about human trafficking.  He's probably right.  Great movie though - full of hope and focuses on the solution and not the depressing gravity of the problem.  Be an abolitionist!  Check out http://ourrescue.org/

5/17 - Levi's last day of preschool!
5/18 - Josiah's last day of 2nd grade!
